I plant special items per dh's request.
They grow, and some thrive. See dh's jalapenos on right.
This may be why I had given up on gardening. It had been so long since I'd been successful that I decided to give it another shot this year.
One dozen zucchinis on 12 plants does not equal a successful harvest in my mind.
Better luck next year.
